Outline nursing principles of management for post resuscitation BSL monitoring
A
- NBM during initial post resus care
- Insert PIVC or UVC
- Perform BSL within 1 hour
- Confirm with true blood glucose but do not wait for results to initiate treatment
- 10% glucose infusion at 4-6mg/kg/min
