- have an adequate number of spiritually qualified members to fill the offices of the church
- make provision for a pastor who is a credentialed minister in good standing with General Council and a district Council
- demonstrates a willingness to contribute to Assemblies of God missions

What is the General Council’s position on the eligibility of women for ministry?
Women that are divinely called and qualified may serve the church in the ministry of the Word. Their qualifications for ministerial qualifications warrant them and give them the right to administer ordinances and they are eligible to serve in all levels of church ministry and/or district and General Council leadership
What are the general requirements for a certified minister?
shall show promise of usefulness in the gospel work
devote full or part time to Christian ministry
show evidence of a divine call
be actively engaged in some aspect of ministry and proclamation of the gospel
