weaknesses of bandura
- low ethics, can lead to ppt harm and promotes aggression eg injure selves, distress was not reversed which could cause psychological harm
-low ecological validity, occurred in lab at stanford uni which doesnt reflect natural environment
strengths of bandura
-high internal validity, children checked for natural aggression and emotional state, use of arousal room, cause and effect
-high internal rater reliability, 2 observers behind mirror, checked agreement before, had to both notice a behaviour, tallied every 5 secs
