What is specialisation?
A
When an individual, firm, region or country concentrates on the production of a limited range of goods and services.

A
When a country can produce more of a good/service compared to another country using the same quantity of factors of production.

A country should specialise in goods/services that they can produce at a lower opportunity cost compared to another country.

A
- It doesn’t account for moving the goods/services between countries.
- Depending on a nation’s location, this is more or less of a problem.

- Economies can quickly adjust to changing global market conditions by switching from capital to labour and vice versa.
