Where is Egypt located?
Northeastern Africa. It’s one of the world’s earliest civilizations.
What is the most important feature of Egypt’s geography?
The Nile River. It is surrounded by desert on either side.

Name 3 important cities in ancient Egypt? Where were they located?
Thebes, Memphis and Giza. Along the Nile.
As Egyptian civilization developed, two major kingdoms formed. What were they?
Upper Egypt, along the Nile river. Lower Egypt, in the Nile River delta.
What was the reason Egypt developed into such an advanced civilization?
Its geography. The major cities were centered alone the Nile. The river made life in the region possible.
What did Ancient Egyptians take advantage of to develop a highly productive system of agriculture?
They took advantage of yearly flooding.
