- The promotion and preservation of life is the most important bioethical principle.
- Actions that destroys or artificially interferes with the creation or preservation of life is morally problematic .
- Nature always wins.

- The moral principles can change base on the context of an issue
- You can do something that is practically good but not ethically good.
- Ex. World hunger could be fixed by Cannibalism but that would not be

- The church is opposed to Euthanasia because it prematurely end a human life (prior to the natural end of life)
