Q

briefly explain the succession stages

A

1.
- harsh hostile environments

2.
- pioneer species begin to occur, changing the abiotic factors

  1. -decomposition and decay occurs when the pioneer species dies thickening the soil meaning larger plants can grow and are introduced

4.
- biodiversity ad species richness increases

    • at the end of succession a climax community is introduced, meaning the eco system supports the largest and most complex plans and animals.
    • it wont change much from the climax community
