The deeper meaning ( when we stray off the path God has given us, he will come and get us and put us on the right path.)

Helps understand what actions we are to take ( repent for our sins, when we sin (walk away from Him) God wants us to come to Him and repents)

Signs that lead us to God’s kingdom (God loves us so much that a conversion of heart will make Him forgive you)
