Select tool (Arrow icon) definition?
Used for selecting entities in the model. Clicking on an object with the tool will select it for further actions like moving, rotating or applying commands.
Line Tool (pencil icon) definition?
Allows you to draw straight lines. Click to start the line, move the mouse to where you want the line to end, and click again.
Rectangle Tool (Rectangle with a diagonal line) definition?
Lets you draw rectangles. Click once to set one corner, drag to the opposite corner, and click again to complete the rectangle.
Circle Tool (Circle Icon) definition?
Used to draw circles. Click to set the center, drag outwards to set the radius, and click again.
Arc Tool (Curved line with two endpoints) definition?
Enables drawing arcs. Three clicks are required one for the start point, one for the end point and one for the bulge of the arc.
Freehand Tool (Squiggly line) definition?
Allows you to draw freehand lines. Click and hold to start, drag to draw, and release to end.
Eraser Tool (Eraser icon) definition?
Used to erase edges and geometry. Click or drag over the entity you wish to delete.
Push/pull Tool (Arrow pointing up from a rectangle) definition?
Used to extrude a face to add depth.
Click on a face and drag to pull it out or push it in.
Move Tool (Four arrows pointing outwards) definition?
Allows you to move entities in your model. Click to select an entity, then move the mouse to reposition it.
Tape Measure Tool (Ruler icon) definition?
Used for measuring distances, creating guide lines or points, and scaling a model. Click to set the start point, and then click again at the end point.
Orbit Tool (Two curved arrows forming a circle) definition?
Lets you rotate the view around your model.
Click and drag to orbit around your model.
Pan Tool (Hand icon) definition?
Used to shift the view without altering the perspective. Click and drag to move the view parallel to the screen.
Zoom Tool (Magnifying glass) definition?
Allows you to zoom in and out of your model. Click and drag up to zoom in, and down to zoom out, or use the mouse scroll wheel.
