3.3 Flashcards
What would happen if a keystone species is removed
The entire community would all die except for one species.
What is the difference between Autotroph and Heterotroph
Autotroph: The producers, they make their own food
Heterotroph: The consumers, they consume producers and other consumers.
Herbivore vs. Omnivore vs. Carnivore vs. Detritivore
Herbivore: eats plants
Omnivore: eats plants and animals
Carnivore: eats other animals
Detritivore: eats dead animals or plants.
What are some differences from trophic Cascade and a food web
The trophic Cascade shows what effect each animal is having on each other while the food web shows what level each animal is on.
Make A food web and Trophic cascade.
Species 1 is the producer.
Species 2 eats species 1
Species 3 eats species 2
species 4 eats species 3
What are the trophic levels
Producers
primary consumers
secondary consumers
tertiary consumers
quaternary consumers.
