The goal is to make sure everyone and everything needed are prepared to start the review. Make sure that everyone involved has access to the work product, understands their role and responsibilities, and receives everything they need to perform.
Define the individual review phase of the Review Process.
Every reviewer performs an individual, independent review to assess the quality of the work product. Each person should identify and log anomalies, recommendations, and questions.
Define the communication and analysis portion of the Review Process.
Anomalies need to be analyzed and discussed to determine if they are defects or not. Status, ownership, and required actions should be determined. The overall quality level of the work product, and required action items for it are also determined at this time.
