A
Magnification = size of image / size of object

How is the magnification of a drawing calculated?
A
Calculate the eyepiece graticule using a stage micrometer. Measure the length using the eyepiece graticule.
Measure the length of the image using a ruler.
Calculate the magnification using these values.
