What is initiative
People want to pass a law so they petition and pass it to ballot to get votes and have it passed without state having to pass or vote for it
What is referendum
Legislature passes law which people don’t like so they get law removed
What is recall
Elected officials can be kicked out if the people are not happy with a politician
