  • Right to conquest- Win in battle, proving you have been chosen by God to rule ( as he chose you to win the battle)
  • Be promised the throne/ nominated
  • Consent of the three realms- church, nobility and commons in parliament

A

  • Then the Yorkists fight amongst themselves and the an obscure lancastrian Henry Tudor invades, kills Richard III, marries his niece and declares the war over!
