- Post notice on bulletin board AT LEAST THIRTY DAYS PRIOR to inspection, listing dates and items to be inspected.

f. Shoes, dress uniform, high gloss.

4a. Summer blouse
b. Summer trousers
c. White gloves
d. Cap
e. Raincoat
f. Long sleeve shirts (2).

The CO will Inspect for the following equipment during Both inspections:
a. All handguns possessed by members.
(1) Ensure that handguns are listed on FORCE RECORD
or FORCE RECORD SUPPLEMENT
b. Service holster, for serviceability and conformance to specifications
c. Regulation handcuffs.
d. Department Manual, properly updated.
e. IDENTIFICATION CARD
(1) Ensure accurate representation of the member’s appearance. Member will be directed to report to Shield, ID and Retirement Unit for a new IDENTIFICATION CARD, if necessary.
f. Shield and cap device.
g. New York State driver’s license.
h. Helmets with identifying decals (City emblem or detective shield, insignia of rank and shield number).
i. Personally assigned portable radios inspected and checked against the commands master list of serial numbers.
j. Authorized protective vest and carrier.

Upon notification from IAB the a MOS license is suspended/revoked etc, the CO will inspect the situation and submit a report to?
The commanding officer will submit a report to INTERNAL AFFAIRS BUREAU, RECORDS SECTION indicating the results of the investigation of this matter and the current status of the member’s drivers license.

Can a MOS be in a Car with a suspended license?
Yes, they just can’t operate one.

the CO will have what type of checks done on his UMOS?
- Have a WARRANT CHECK CONDUCTED, using the WINQ and WNAM formats, for each uniformed member of the service.

CO will inspect handgun records when?
- Compare handguns listed on FORCE RECORD with Handgun Computer Printout forwarded annually for the November uniform inspection.

CO will list deficiencies where?
- Record results of inspection on COPY of command ROSTER, listing deficiencies.

CO will give MOS how long to fix or replace times? and have them produce?
- Direct member requiring new article of uniform or equipment to purchase or place order for article WITHIN THIRTY DAYS.

EQUIPMENT SECTION
b. Ensure that article of uniform is STAMPED by Equipment Section.

- Indicate on command roster when deficiencies are corrected.
- File the command roster after deficiencies have been corrected.

- Endorse and forward copy of Handgun Computer Printout to CO, FTS by JANUARY 15TH, indicating:
a. Inspection of all listed weapons
b. Comparison with FORCE RECORD
c. Any changes to update Computerized Firearms Register
d. If no changes, so state.
