1. COMPETENCE OF THE ETHICS COMMITTEE
   1.1 What competence does the Ethics Committee have?

Answer 1

To investigate and judge the conduct of all persons bound by this Code where such conduct:

a) has been committed by an individual who was elected, appointed or assigned by FIFA to exercise a function.

b) directly concerns the FIFA-related duties or responsibilities.

c) is related to the use of FIFA funds.

The Ethics Committee is competent to decide on matter affecting players, coaches or any other official bound by this Code where said conduct does not fall under the competence of any confederation or member association.

2. PROCEDURE
   2.1 What are the procedural rules when it comes to the Ethics Committee?

Answer 2

• When dealing with the Ethics Committee, parties may have legal representation at their own cost and expense.
• You can get legal aid when you are financially insufficient. Applicants must submit reasoned requests with supporting documents.
• Decisions passed by the Ethics Committee shall come into force as soon as they are communicated.

Any type of proof may be produced:
- documents,
- reports from officials,
- declarations from the parties and witnesses,
- audio and video recordings,
- expert opinions and
- all other proof that is relevant to the case.
