what is the executive?
also known as government it consists of the prime minister members of cabinet and junior ministers
what is the role of the prime minister in the exec?
it is the head of the executive

what is the cabinet?
they are senior ministers that lead government departments and help to inform and consult the pm on policies

what are junior minister?
they are appointed by the pm and work for the government departments led by senior ministers and need to report to them

has responsibility for an area of policy which the executive pursues.
what are the roles of the exec in regards to budget?
a budget must be proposed to parliament and the chancellor must outline executives’ proposed changes to taxation and the state of nation’s economy
