what is the key relationship between IQ, EI, and personality?
Neither IQ or personality can be used to predict EQ. Each is unique, doesn’t overlap much when assessed together you get a picture of the whole person and what makes him/her tick
what distinguishes EI, IQ, and personality overtime?
EI can always be improved on since its a dynamic trait IQ and personality plateau; they develop then stay constant, static
How does IQ and EI overlap?
EI multiplies the effect of IQ and other technical skills. Human potential= (innate intelligence + technical skills)*(emotional intelligence) -all can be used to benefit a company: recruitment, assessing job performance

-Intelligence quotient is a measure of cognitive intelligence (ex. analytical and intellectual abilities) -peaks at 17 stays pretty constant and wanes with old age -people with average IQs outperform those with high IQ 70% of the time (book smarts)
