What is shared services?
One method for delivering collaboration within the supply chain. Services shared can include finance, IT, Human resources, printing, reprographics, procurement and supply. These can be extended to supply network partners.
What is a buying consortium?
Collaboration and aggregated buying is done with multiple organisations or buyers to deliver more value to those participating in the buying consortium.
As a collaborative strategy extends further into the supply network, the complexity will increase. What are important elements to facilitate an increase within the supply chain.

Desired outcome - An integrated vision, implementing industry level collaboration within the supply chain
What is a change agent?
Often a senior manager or individual with the power to influence those affected by change. They may also be an external consultant with skills and experience in change management.
What are the 3 responses to influence of change?
Resistant (oppose the change, may avoid or undermine it)
Compliant (lacks enthusiasm or support for change)
Acceptance (agree with the need for change and plan to make it a reality)
