A
Something that relies on something else for its existence, it doesn’t need to exist.

A
The thing that gives contingency to other beings, it could never not have existed.

Outline the second part of Anselm’s argument
A
- God is TTWNGCBC
- Necessary existence is greater than contingent existence
- So if God was only contingent, then a greater being could be conceived
- Therefore God must have necessary existence.
