What is the product rule (in words)?

A

Take the derivative of the first, times the second. Then add the derivative of the second times the first. OR
Take the derivative of the first, leave the second and add the derivative of the second, leave the first.

Quotient Rule (in words)

A

Like the product rule but with a minus over the bottom squared. So, the derivative of the top * bottom minus derivative of bottom * top. LodHi - HidLo over Lo*Lo we go!
