1st amendment
freedoms, including freedom of expression, religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition (freedom comes first)
2nd amendment
protects the right of citizens to keep and bear arms (bears have two arms)
3rd amendment
prohibits solider’s from residing in homes that are not owned by them (cant house a trio of three solider’s in your home)
4th amendment
prohibits unnecessary searches/ searches without warrant (the government is coming four you)
5th amendment
no person tried without a grand jury (a grand jury of 5 [not realistic])
6th amendment
rights of accused in criminal cases (6 words)
7th amendment
trial by (7 letters)
8th amendment
excessive, cruel, or unusual (excessive starts with e, so does eight)

the people retain rights not listed in the constitution (9 words)

powers not given to government are given to the people or states

individual cannot use a state in federal courts (individual has I at start and l at the end)
