Linear Pair
When two adjacent angles’ noncommon sides are opposite rays
Complementary Angles
When the sum of two angles’ measures is 90 degrees.
Supplementary Angles
When the sum of two angles’ measures is 180 degrees.
Linear Pair Postulate
If two angles form a linear pair, then they are supplementary.
Thm 2.1: Congruent Supplements Theorem
If two angles are supplementary to the same angle or to congruent angles, then they are congruent.

If two angles are complementary to the same angle or to congruent angles, then they are congruent.
Thm 2.3: Vertical Angles Theorem
If two angles are vertical angles, then they are congruent.

When two angles’ sides form two pairs of opposite rays
