Q

Chloroplast

A

Function: site of photosynthesis.
Use carbon dioxide, water and light energy to build sugars.

The chloroplast is surrounded by a double membrane.
It is filled with a liquid called the stroma, and contains stacks of thylakoid membranes called grana.
