The growth rate is much slower and remains somewhat constant
When there is a higher birth rate than death rate what happens to the population?
It increases
What is natural increase?
The percent that a population is increasing over a period of time
What happens to the population in stages 2 and 3 of the demographic transition model?
The population is increasing
Do developing countries have a higher fertility rate than other countries and why or why not
Developing countries do have higher fertility rates because they are growing countries who are using resources and they’re population needs to increase
How does an age structure diagram predict population growth?
It can tell based on the fertility rates per age group about how many offspring there will be in the next generation
