24 - Electrical System Flashcards
How many AC generators ?
4 engine generators and 1 APU generator
What voltage do the AC generators provide ?
230 V at variable frequency
What voltage does the APU generator provide ?
230 V at a constant frequency of 400 Hz
How many engine generators can the APU generator replace in flight ?
Up to 2
What is the role of an Auto Transformer Unit ?
The Auto Transformer Units (ATUs) supply the AC115 V network with power coming from the AC230 V network
What is the role of a Transformer Rectifier ?
The Transformer Rectifiers (TRs) supply the DC network with a DC28 V power from the AC230 V power
What voltage does the emergency generator provide ?
230 V at a variable frequency
In normal configuration, how are DC EMER 1 and 2 powered ?
In the normal configuration, the AC 1B 230 V and AC 2B 230 V busbars respectively supply the AC EMER 1 230 V and AC EMER 2 230 V busbars.
The 230 V power is converted to:
AC115 V power by the ATU EMER 1 and ATU EMER 2
DC28 V on the DC EMER 1 and DC EMER 2 by the TR EMER 1 and TR EMER 2
How is the emergency network powered if all AC 1A/1B/2A/2B busbars are lost ?
The emergency network is supplied directly from the RAT, if the AC 1A, AC 1B, AC 2B, and AC 2A busbars are lost
On the ELEC DC SD page, the battery :
- is OFF ?
- is failed ?
- discharges ?
Discharges
How many GND SVCE CTL switches are there and where are they located ?
2
Which outlet can the flightcrew use for his PED ?
The flight crew can use the 110 V AC / 60 Hz power outlet to plug a Portable Electronic Device (PED)
How long is the refuel on batteries limited ?
The duration of the refuel on batteries is limited to 10 min (with nominal batteries capacity)
On ground with two external power units connected and APU running, how are AC 1A and AC 1B busbars powered ?
By APU GEN
In smoke configuration, if SIDE 1 and 2 ISOL PB-SW is pressed to ON, are DC EMER 1 and DC EMER 2 busbars still connected ?
Yes
