Deranged little boys, can be state sponsored or IT professionals

can be from anywhere in the world but common areas are middle east and Asia, as well as the USA; Eastern Europe is notable for money scams

May have been a Cyber Criminal in the past- High level of IT Expertise
what are the activities of a cyber terrorist?
uses computers and communication systems to cause fear or intimidation in a society through the destruction of or damage to people, property and systems.
What is a cyber criminal?
Someone who uses computers as a weapon to perform malicious activities

Test themselves, Financial gain, Enjoyment.

Offers goods or “quick money” by sending emails- targets many at one time

Often work in organised groups that sell services to the highest bidder

Young, Steal code to claim as own, Little skill.

can be based anywhere in the world. May have ideological or religious reasons for wanting to terrorise others. personal gain. high-end programming skills.
