What are the definitions of Takhfeef, Ta’leel and Idgham?
Takhfeef is the changing of a Hamzah
Ta’leel is the changing of a weak letter
Idgham is the joining of two letters with a shadda
Explain the qa’idah of راس ، بوس ، ذیب
If there is a single hamzah which is sakin, it will be changed according to the vowel on the letter preceding it. Eg if the letter before has a Fatha the hamzah will be changed into an Alif. Jawazan
Explain the qaidah of آمن ، أُوْمن
When a sakin hamzah occurs after a vowelised hamzah the hamzah sakin will always be changed to confirm to the vowel on the vowelised hamzah like أُوْمِِنَ from أُأْمِنَ wajiban
Explain the qaidah of ٌجُوَن and مِِيَرٌ
Every hamzah with a fatha that is single will become a و when it is preceded by dhamma and become a ي when preceded by a kasra جُوَنٌ from جُؤَنٌ and مِيَرٌ from مِئَرٌ jawazan
Explain the qaidah of جاء ، أوادِمُ
When two vowelised hamzas join together and one of them is maksoor the second hamza will become a yaa, if it one is not maksoor the second hamza will become a waw jawazan
Explain the principle of أيِمَّةٌ
When two vowelised Hamzah’s join in the beginning of the word and the second one is maksoor the second one will be changed into a yaa jawazan
Explain the principle of خَطِيَّةٌ ، مقرُوَّةٌ
If hamzah occurs after mad e zaidah of ya or waw, or after ya tasgheer, it will be changed to the letter before it and Idgham will be done. Jawazan
