2.1 MATS Flashcards
When using paper strips
1) ensure marking is neat and legible
2) use a blue or black pen for normal markings and a red pen as otherwise specified
3) draw a single line through any obsolete markings
4) do not erase or write over any marking
5) rewrite or reprint any strip that becomes difficult to read, then file the old strip
Record the time in minutes (2 digits) unless either of the following applies:
1) the hour difference from that of the control estimate or the use of 4 digits is specifically directed
2) you are using electronic data

Aircraft Identification
1) enter 3-7 alphanumeric characters
2) indicate if flight is MEDEVAC
3) Indicate if the flight is SUPER

Aircraft Type
1) the number if a/c if more than one
2) the appropriate wake turbulence category prefix
3) the appropriate ICAO aircraft type designator
4) the forward slash and one or more appropriate letters from the equipment list found in CFS
