S66 - Define Possession of Firearms
Any person in occupation of land or driver of any vehicle is deemed to be in possession unless they prove it was not their property and that it was in someone else possession.

How Should You Proceed When Dealing With an Offender Believed to be Armed?
- Continuous TENR
- Better to take the matter too seriously than too lightly.
- Treat all offenders believed to be armed as hostile and dangerous until definitive evidence to the contrary.

When Must a Supervisor Be Notified of a Taser Presentation or Deployment?
As soon as practicable.
In the case of rural employees they must notify the nearest onduty supervisor.
What Are The Supervisors Actions After An Employees TASER Deployment?
1) PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE
2) MEDICAL ATTENTION
3) PRESERVE THE SCENE
4) COLLECT EVIDENCE

What Must You Do If An OIA Request Is Made For TASER Data?
Forward the request to the Director of Capability at PNHQ.
In The Event Of a TASER U/D, What Must You Do As a Supervisor?
1) Preserve the scene and obtain all evidence.
2) Withdraw the TASER and consult with the Armoury.
3) Ensure footage is uploaded and TOR submitted for a U/D.
4) Instigate a review and notify PCM.
When Is A Firearms License Holder Disqualified By The Court Under the Trespass Act 1980?
When that persons who commits an offence against the Act and at the time was in possession of a firearm. Disqualification period is 2yrs from the time of conviction.

Procedure For Making A F/A Safe?
- Treat as loaded
- Point the F/A in a safe direction, finger outside trigger guard
- Unload the magazine and action the F/A
- Label exhibits and store in appropriate exhibits safe
