Quality of life
The secular origins of this significat concept (that humans life has to possess certain attributes inn order to have value .e.g freedom of pain, happiness autonomy
Voluntary euthanasia
A person’s life is ended att their request/ or with heir consent.
Non-voluntary euthanasia
A person’s life is ended without their consent but with the consent of someone representing their interest. e.g PVS cases
Omission
the purposeful act of not doing an action
Passive Euthanasia
Occurs when patient dies becuase the medical professional with don’t do something necessary to keep the patist alive or when they stoop doing something - Omission e.g. DNR + Withdrawal e.g. Life support
Active Euthanasia
occurs when medical professionals or people deliberately do something that causes the patient to die.
