A swift, strong strike meaning “Lightning War”
Conscription
Being forced to serve in a country’s military.
Constitution
Rules and principles about how a country will run.
Deadlock
Two sides of similar strength , unable to gain over the other.
Evacuation
People being taken away from a place of danger.
Holocaust
Slaughter on a massive scale of a group.
Nationalism
Identify with beliefs of own nation. Can be against beliefs of others.
Rations
Being given a fixed amount as supply is limited.
Reparations
Paying to put things right in the eyes of others.
Republic
A country which has elected leaders.
