i told her that this did not mean we had to arrive at the start of the service

but she insisted
אז הגענו בשמונה וחצי בבוקר, עשר דקות לפני כל אחד, כולל הרב
so we arrived at eight thiry am, ten minutes before anyone including the rabbi
היה נחמד במיוחד
it was especially nice
שניים מבני הדודים שלי היו שם, אחד עם אשתו ואחת מבנותיו ובעלה
two of my cousins were there, one with his wife and one of his daughters and her husband
אחרי השירות התכנסנו כולנו בבית של בן דוד שלי
after the service we all got together at my cousin’s house.
בתו האחרת ומשפחתה הצטרפו אלינו
his other daughter and her family joined us
בסופו של דבר שיחקתי הרבה גו פיש עם הילד בן החמש
i ended up playing a lot of go fish with the 5-year-old
זה היה מאוד נחמד
it was very nice
הרגשתי מאוד מאושרת
i felt very happy
מהבית של בן דוד שלי מארק הלכנו לביתה של אחותי ושם אכלנו ארוחת ערב עם המשפחה שלה
from my cousin mark’s house we walked to my sister’s place and there we had dinner with her family
השירות הסתיים באחת וחצי בצהריים
the service ended at 1:30 pm
