Patty Barron joined the staff at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) in January of 2012 as AUSA’s Director of Family Readiness. She supports all AUSA family programs and activities by providing management and oversight to all directorate activities.
Stephanie Berglund is the Chief Executive Officer of thread, Alaska’s Child Care Resource and Referral Network. She oversees a network of partner organizations helping to strengthen access to quality early care and learning in Alaska. She has experience working on social public policy, creating innovative partnerships, and improving the quality of services in Alaska.
Lynne Borden joined the University of Minnesota in 2013 as a Professor in the Department of Family Social Science. Borden’s research and discovery endeavors to better understand the relationships young people have in various contexts and how those relationships affect their overall development.
Renée Boynton-Jarrett, MD, ScD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine. She is a practicing primary care pediatrician at Boston Medical Center, a social epidemiologist, and the founding director of the Vital Village Community Engagement Network.
Katherine Cothern is the Program Manager for the Southwest Tennessee Child Care Resource and Referral program, which serves 19 counties in northwest and southwest Tennessee, which serves 19 counties in northwest and southwest Tennessee. She has served in this capacity since the program’s inception in 1999.
Encarni Gallardo is the Executive Director of Children’s Service Society, the oldest child welfare agency in the state of Utah providing support for families and caregivers to ensure safe environments for children.
Dan Harris is the Executive Director of the Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA). Harris has over 20 years of experience administering social service programs in Illinois, New Mexico and Wisconsin.
Walter S. Gilliam is the Director of The Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy and Associate Professor of Child Psychiatry and Psychology at the Child Study Center, Yale School of Medicine.
Managing Partner Tim Hawkins divides his professional time at LT Business Dynamics between working with small businesses and nonprofits. He also serves as the company’s primary business development officer as he cultivates relationships with new and established clients and develops strategic partnerships with outside firms and other industry leaders.
Ann McCully joined Child Care Aware® of Minnesota as Executive Director in April 2002. During her time with the agency, the statewide system has gone through significant changes in the structure of its service delivery, and the work of the coordinating agency has expanded to include direct support to various programs.
Paula is currently the Vice President of Programs at The Family Conservancy in Kansas City, which is a member agency in both the Kansas and Missouri Child Care Aware® networks. She has over twenty years of experience in child care resource and referral at both the state and local level.
Daniel J. Pedersen is the Sr. Advisor of The Atlanta Speech School and was from 1999 until 2012, founding president of the Buffett Early Childhood Fund, which invests in early childhood practice, policy and knowledge to ensure a better start for very young children growing up in families facing the greatest odds.
Steve Rohde is the Deputy Director for Resource and Referral Services for the Maryland Family Network (MFN, a merger of Maryland Committee for Children and Friends of the Family) and the Maryland Child Care Resource Network.
Tonja Rucker currently serves as the Principal Associate for Early Childhood Development in the Institute for Youth Education and Families at the National League of Cities. She is responsible for providing primary program support for the Institute’s work in areas related to early education.
Taran Schneider is the Director of Healthy Child Care Colorado which is part of a nationwide initiative coordinated by the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure that early childhood programs and health professionals adhere to the highest health, safety, and wellness standards.
