إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ

“Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but rather He looks at your hearts and actions.”

Hadith #3 - Saheeh Muslim 2702

A

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ، فَإِنِّي أَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ.‏

“O people! Repent to Allah, for I repent to Allah one hundred times a day.”

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ الْعَبْدِ مَا لَمْ يُغَرْغِرْ

“Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a slave as long as (his soul does not reach his throat).”

مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ.‏

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or else keep silent.”

Hadith #6 - Saheeh al-Bukhari 1283

A

إِنَّمَا الصَّبْرُ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الْأُولَ
“(True) patience is only when calamity first strikes”

Explanation:
Real patience is shown when hardship first hits, before panic or frustration takes over. It’s the patience that earns reward.

Hadith #7 - Sahih Muslim 2999

A

عَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَاكَ لِأَحَدٍ إِلاَّ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ، فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ، فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ.‏

“How astonishing the believer’s affair is! Indeed, all of his affairs are good, and this is for none but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is grateful, which is good for him; and if something bad happens to him, he shows patience, which is good for him.”
