1
Q
Before performing Flight at Reduced Speed
A
MINIMUM ALTITUDE 3000 FEET AGL
HALTE
THROTTLE REDUCED AS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN 95 MPH
STABILIZE HEADING AND ALTITUDE
THE EXAMINER WILL THEN ASK THE CANDIDATE TO EXTEND THE GEAR AND FLAPS AND TO
MANEUVER THE AIRCRAFT WHILE MAINTAINING THIS REDUCED AIRSPEED
NOTE : TO AVOID LOW POWER DURING COLD TEMPERATURE, ¼ FLAPS COULD BE USED TO REDUCE
THE AIRSPEED AND KEEP HIGHER POWER SETTING. (BELOW 5 DEGREES ON METAR)

Q
TO RECOVER:
A
MIXTURE FULL RICH · PITCH FULL FINE · THROTTLE FULL POWER · FLAPS UP · GEAR UP · WHEN 120 MPH, REDUCE POWER TO MAINTAIN 140 MPH (±18 / 2400 RPM)
