Old Labour (social democracy)
traditional/ socialist left wing of the Labour party that emphasises nationalisation, wealth redistribution and provision of public services
New Labour (Third way)
a shift away from Old Labour, emphasising a broader class base, market friendly reforms, social justice and individual responsibility
One Nation
a paternalistic approach, emphasising national unity and social cohesion
New Right
a political ideology emphasising free-market economics, individual liberty, limited government, and a conservative approach to social issues.
Classical Liberals
that emphasises individual liberty, free markets, limited government, and the rule of law, associated with the Enlightenment period of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Modern Liberals
emphasizes individual liberty, equality, and social justice, and supports big government economically including welfare programs

Left-wing
those who desire change or reform to the way in which society operates. often emphasising social and economic equality
Right-wing
support of the status quo, stressing the need for order, hierarchy and stability, as well as small government and individualism
