How do you save a custom workspace?
Option 1:
1) Create unique workspace
2) Click Window -> Workspace -> New Workspace
3) Name it
4) Click “OK”

How do you move panels into different groups?
Grab the panel from the top of the panel and move them until you see the blue line to dock them.
What happens when you double click the Hand tool?
Centers the artboard in the window
What happens when you double click the zoom tool?
Zooms artboard to 100% size
Which key can you hold to temporarily switch to the Hand tool?
Space Bar
While drawing a shape like a circle or rectangle, what happens when you hold the Shift key?
Keeps the proportions of the object the same

What does it mean that Illustrator is resolution independent? Why is this a benefit over Photoshop?
Resolution independent means that it is a vector created from mathematical equations and can be scaled infinitely - it does not rely on the limitation of pixels. It is a benefit over Photoshop, because images in Photoshop are limited to their resolution and can only be adjusted dependent on the resolution.
What does the Direct Selection tool do?
Selects and adjusts Anchor Points
What happens when you are in Isolation mode?
Isolation Mode allows you to isolate an object or Anchor Point and is useful when isolating objects that are in groups
How do you exit Isolation Mode?
Double-click outside of the object
