Not really… Population declined but innovations in pottery and metallurgy (e.g. Shifted from smelting of bronze to iron for some reason)…

Odyssey = Odysseus’ journey to return home after Troy

Probably not… He was a bard, probably passed on from others and amended to make relevant.
