GENERAL PROVISIONS: How to become a Football Agent?
a) Submitting a complete licence application via the Platform,
b) Complying with the eligibility requirements,
c) Successfully passing the exam conducted by FIFA,
d) Paying an annual fee to FIFA.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: What must an applicant do?
a) Upon submitting their licence application:
i. have made no false/misleading/incomplete statements,
ii. never been convicted of a criminal charge,
iii. never have been subject to suspension of two years or more by any regulation within sports,
iv. not be an official employee of FIFA or any other association,
v. not hold any interest in a club.
b) never been found performing Agent services without the required licence 24 months before applying for it.
c) never been bankrupt, personally or via a company that has undergone liquidation.
EXAM PROCEDURE: How is the exam conducted?
The exam will be a multiple-choice test prepared by FIFA and will test knowledge of current football regulations, as established in the circular.
LICENCE FEE: What are the requirement to issue the licence?
The applicant must pay the annual fee within 90 days of passing the exam. Failure to do so will result in their application being automatically declared void.
ISSUE OF LICENCE: Who is the licence for?
Issued licences are strictly personal and non-transferable. Furthermore a licence authorises an Agent to conduct services on a worldwide basis.
