Tacitly (adverb)
In a way that is understood or implied without being directly stated.
“Martha looked for approval and received it tacitly from all but her husband.”
Axiom (n)
A proposition that regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true.
“The axiom that supply equals demand.”
Ideology (n)
A system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.
“He grasps the ideology of business strategies and knows how to plan and execute them very successfully.”
Benevolent (adj)
Marked by or disposed to doing good & well-meaning and kindly.
“The man became benevolent in the last years of his life.”
Conspicuous (adj.)
Standing out very clearly-often attracts attention.
“It was a conspicuous landmark from the sea.”
Incongruous (adj.)
Not in harmony or keeping with the surroundings or other aspects of something.
“If he tried, his pictures seemed incongruous and false.”
Palpable (adj.)
Able to be touched or felt.
“There was a palpable sense of panic when the power went out.”
Pugnaciously (adj.)
Eager or quick to argue, quarrel, or fight.
“His public statements become increasingly pugnacious.”
Shirking (v)
To evade work, duty, etc.
“He was attempting to shirk his responsibility by not calling work to see if he was on for tonight.”

An object surviving from an earlier time, especially one of historical or sentimental interests.

Unable to be captured or broken into.
“The safe at the bank was impregnable”
Indoctrinate (v)
To teach (a person or group) to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. "Colonial India was indoctrinated by European colonial powers during the Age of Discovery."
