People who wanted to desegregate interstate buses and ride from D.C. To New Orleans. Go through mob slashes, burning of bus and arrested in 1961.
What was Children’s March? What happened to those who participated?
Children’s March was a movement that was mainly made out of Students. Police officials later brought out fire hoses, dogs, and jail time for those that participated.
What was MLK’S “I Have a Dream” speech?
A speech that got a lot of attention and said in the March on Washington.
What happened to the 16th St. Church Bombing? Who was killed?
Robert Chambliss a KKK member planted dynamite on a church which killed four young children, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, Addie May Collins, and Denise McNair.

The change in rules for much of the discrimination in public places. For example not testing for voting.

An African-American Activist that was also Muslim. He was a great influence during the civil rights era. If someone atracos you, you attack back.

The Selma Voting march was a march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, also known as “Bloody Sunday”. The 1965 Voting Rights act was a law signed by President Johnson which finally gave Voting Rights.

Black Power was the empowerment of black people. Created institutions and created by Carmichael.

Vietnam people under Ho Chi Minh which is communist. Makes America scared of communism spreading.

President Nixon passed a paper that would allow the president to declare war. The reason for this was because Vietnamese torpedo boats were coming in high speeds.
