After 1915 = Things began to negatively change. Farm prices dropped by 40% as the price of farm land had drastically fell, many were already in debt. As a result, many had to give up their farms. Things during the 1920s grew particularly harsh as the equipment that was required for them to buy was more expensive than their produce and subsequently caused farmers to work at a loss of approximately 66% on average.
