Who was Harry Burn?
He was a member of the Tennessee General Assembly who changed his vote to be in favor of passing the 19th Amendment. Because he changed his vote, the amendment was ratified in TN, giving women the right to vote in our state.
Why is TN called the Perfect 36?
TN was the 36th state to ratify the 19th Amendment giving women the vote, and it was the last state needed to make it a national law.

People listened to radio for sports, drama or comedy programs, and music.
