What is meant by modesty?

What is the difference between a tint and a shade?
tint is when white is added to a color and shade is when black is added to a color

a tool used to show how colors relate to each other
What are the primary colors? Can they be created?
blue, yellow, red and they can not be created
What are the secondary colors? How are they created?
green, violet, orange and mix two primary colors
What are the intermediate/tertiary colors? How are they created?
red orange, red violet, blue violet, blue green, yellow orange, yellow green and made by one primary color and one secondary color
What is a monochramtic color harmony? What is an example?
different values of one color, for example pink and red
What is an analogous color harmony? What is an example?
three or more colors next to each other on the color wheel, for example blue, blue green, green
What is a complementary color harmony? What is an example?
2 colors opposite of each other on the color wheel, for example blue and orange

warm colors are red, orange, yellow and cool colors are blue, green, violet
What colors are considered receding and what colors are considered advancing?
warm colors are considered advancing and cool colors are considered receding
