The white people treated them poorly by tricking Black Hawk to signing a treaty that handed over the (land, crops ect..) the white people also killed hundreds of children and women of the sauk nation and would also make them drunk to trick them into there (guns, traps, and horses)

to better himself as a man and so that other people can better themselves even though he didn’t finish all his virtues he wasn’t disappointed because it’s all about trying and not being perfect.
