A
- separate lifestyles/divided —> upper (educated + literate) and lower class (farmers + labour)
- not ethnically diverse
- rural = lots of greenery + space
- genders = men were favoured, women were seen as inferior/ ‘weaker’ sex
- minimal law and order
- religion strongly followed = ‘Holy Days’

- minimal law on animal + violence cruelty
