A
  • separate lifestyles/divided —> upper (educated + literate) and lower class (farmers + labour)
  • not ethnically diverse
  • rural = lots of greenery + space
  • genders = men were favoured, women were seen as inferior/ ‘weaker’ sex
  • minimal law and order
  • religion strongly followed = ‘Holy Days’
