Q

What are hadrons and the 3 types of hadrons?

A

They are subatomic particles which are made up of 2 or more quarks.

The types are:
- Baryons (3 quark combination)

  • Antibaryon (3 antiquark combination)
  • Meson (1 quark and 1 anti quark pair)

Q

What is the most stable baryon

A

Protons are the most stable

Neutrons aren’t because they have a half-life of 10 minutes when free from an atom.
