Topic Markers
Try:
I want to watch a movie. I want to learn Korean.
은/는
Used to mark the “topic” of a conversation
Only needs to be stated once unless changing topics
은 for consonant endings
는 for vowel endings
저는 영화를 보고 싶어요. 한국어 배우고 싶어요.

E.g. 이음악
(adj) This
Used before a noun with a space to mean “this”
Used when “this” is close to the person speaking

E.g. 그 영화
(adj) That
Used before a noun with a space to mean “that”
Used when “that” is close to the person listening

(adj) That
Used before a noun with a space to mean “that”
Used when “that” is far from everyone
Not to be confused with “I” or the previous 그
That TV
이것
(noun) This thing
Can only be used by itself
“This” is close to the speaker
것 means “thing” among other definitions
E.g. 이것을 영화예요 = This is a movie
Often shortened to 이거 in speaking

“That” is close to the listener
것 means “thing” among other definitions
E.g. 그것을 티비예요 = That is a TV

(noun) That thing
Can only be used by itself
“That” is not close to listener or speaker
것 means “thing” among other definitions
E.g. 저것을 음악이에요 = That is music
Often shortened to 저거 in speaking
