Who are stakeholders?
Individuals or groups of people who are affected by a scenario.
Examples of privacy issues of computer science?
GPS tracking, Face recognition, Number Plate Recognition, Listening Devices, Electronic Tagging

Digital divide, censorship
Examples of ethical issues of computer science?
Hate speech, who’s responsible for dangerous content, easy for one to be exploited online
Examples of environmental issues of computer science?
Harmful materials used, technology shipped to developing countries for disposal, people search waste for materials
What are the features of open source software?
Can be modified and distributed, as source code is made available; support provided by community; (typically) free; not always fully tested
What are the features of proprietary software?
Source code not released, software can’t be modified; supported by developers; fully tested
What are the features of the Data Protection Act?
Personal data must be processed fairly, lawfully, transparently, securely. Personal data should be kept for specified and legitimate reasons. Collected data should be relevant and adequate. Collected data should be accurate and up to date. Data controllers should prove that data protection measures are sufficient.
What are the features of the Computer Misuse Act?
Illegal to make unauthorised access to data (with intent to commit further offences or to modify data).
What are the features of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act?
Illegal to copy, modify or distribute software without the author’s permission.
